We have also developed a close relationship with a network of preferred suppliers to help make your dream event become a reality. Catering Capers staff share a passion for food, people and presentation – from our event supervisors to our chefs, our bartenders to our service staff. Our loyal team is experienced with an impeccable and impeachable presence. Our team is directed by Executive Chef and Owner, Justin Chiricos. Chef Justin received his formal culinary training at the premier Johnson & Wales, in 1995 from the Charleston campus and has since directed his career as Executive Chef under the supervision of master chefs from Florida and South Carolina. Our Director of Sales and Marketing, Katheryne Veldhouse is a Florida State University, Hospitality Management graduate and also has a culinary degree with over 15 years of experience.
Catering Capers is fully licensed and insured; all of the Catering Caper’s kitchen staff is ServSafe ® food handler certified.
Catering Capers uses only the freshest ingredients – locally grown whenever your tastes allow. Our recipes and menus have been tested and critically acclaimed, and we are always happy to create original hearty, organic or exotic fare just for you. Tantalizing sample menus are provided to spark your imagination and help with developing your event design and vision.
We provide a full bar service, including the purchase of beer, wine and liquor of your choice. We can custom design the bar menu to your event, offering drinks that are seasonal, thoughtful and fresh. Let our wine expert provide you with a list of personally selected wines that will complement your menu all while staying within your budget. We are fully licensed and insured. Our Bar Set-up includes mixers, bar condiments, ice and cocktail napkins and bartenders.
At your option and to suit the style of your event or meal, we can coordinate all of your rental needs from the flatware, glassware, dinnerware, service pieces and linens required – from fine bone china and picnic ware to table cloths and slip covers. For outdoor events, we also coordinate tents, marquees, dance floors, lighting, generators and anything else you may require.
